Emma Gaona is currently a sophomore at Oklahoma City University studying flute performance with Parthena Owens. She is a member of the 145th Army National Guard band.

Recent accomplishments include: performing in a master class with Guest Artist Daniel Velasco, a sophomore recital and performing in the OCU Honors Concerto Recital. Emma is a member of the Oklahoma City University Flute Choir, which won the Mary H. Anderson Award in 2022 from the National Flute Association.
